Im not to familiar with tires let alone great winter tires, so im in need of some help. Went to a few shops and each gave me an estimate for certain tires. Which winter tires would you choose?

Canadian Tire: Michelin Arctic = $886 inc. tax

Kaltire: Falken Eurowinter = $798 inc. tax

Tire Warehouse:
1) Mechelin x-ice x12 = $930 inc. tax
2) Semperit Speed-Grip Winters = $663 inc. tax

*I was told from the guy helping me at the tire warehouse that the semperits are 2nd compared to the Mechelin x-ice. Said that most people over in europe tend to grab these and are made for such euro vehicles (Kaltire said the same thing for the Falkens). Sales pitch?

 

Have you checked out Tirerack for reviews on these ? Perhaps its worth checking 1010tires.com as well as they have reviews as well as competitive pricing (to bad you missed out on their free shipping event last month...)
