Headlight washers
Hi guys!
I'm gusseing I have the headlight washer system on my B6 A4 sport package, but even with the lights on, engine running and holding the washer arm inside the car, those washers never pops up to clean my dirty headlights. I guess there's some kind of mechanism that makes the washers pops off from the bumper.
Where would these be located? Are they inside the bumper? Or is there something I'm doing wrong to make them work?
Thanks for you help

Re: Headlight washers
Mechanism is under the bumper and my understanding is it's pressure driven. First need to make sure the covers are not frozen to the rest of the bumper. Next make sure there is water pressure underneath; maybe the previous owner disconnected them for some reason.

Re: Headlight washers
Common problem on B6 A4's. There is two pumps installed on your fluid reservoir, on for your headlight and one for your windshiel. Your headlight washer pump probably died. (Lucky you im doing it this week end lol)

get the gasket too:

Remove driver side wheel, fender liner and you can do the job from there no need to remove the cover bumper.

Re: Headlight washers
I understand that the pump failure would cause no fluid to come out of the washers, but my washers just don't even pop out of the bumper. You think that would be the pump causing that too?
I think I'm going to remove the wheel, liner and check out if this is really the problem. Thanks for the advice.
