Error in the dash, unknown meaning
Hi there, I've got a check engine, that I'll get fixed soon because I've ordered my odb-ii cable.
But now, I also have a strange thing in the console. A "2:00h" appears and is flashing, never gets away . There is also a small "1" in the top right corner.
Here is a pic of what I mean. I'd like to have a search on the forum, but I'm not sure how to search "two-o-clock" error code lol.
And as a bonus question, what are the 2 icons the car checks on the press of "check" button? The first one is a "KM" within a circle and a "1" in the top-left corner. The second is the same but with a "2" in the bottom-right corner.
Thanks,
Eric

Re: Error in the dash, unknown meaning
the 2-00h is driving time there is a reset button under the wiper stalk. just a reminder to take a break.
the 1 is the trip computer in number 1 if you scroll all the way through it will change to number 2 (or pressring the reset cant remember) it basiclly has 2 trip computer,
the kmh in the circle is a speed warning 1 and 2 when you are driving at what everspeed press the check button, then when you go over that speed again the kmh will come on and beep at you. hold the check button down and a line will go through the kmh to cancel it.

okay so basically it's not something broken Indeed, that was the 1st time I was having such a long ride, 2h30.
Thanks!
P.S. All those symbols are pretty hard to figure out, some someone like me whou bought his A4 without the user's manual.
Do you if there is a list explaining all those symbols?
Thanks x2.
