Default Check engine light reset!

I am totally new to usings forums so I'm sorry if this is a common topic...
Just wondering if there is a way I can reset the check engine light on my
2002 3.0Q assuming the problem was fixed but the shop didn't reset the light.
I would take it back to the shop, but its over 2 hours away.

Need a vag-com my friend! And if they fixed it they should have scanned it to make sure that they fixed the problem. Otherwise you have another issue on your hands!

The CEL *should* self clear after several drives if the problem is truely fixed otherwise as 1Move says there may be a new problem.

Radio Code should be in the original Owner's Manual Documentation, otherwise have to pull Radio to get serial # and pay the dealer for the code.

A quick battery disconnect may not require Radio Code but it is best to have the code ready if needed.

Yeah and your keys will de-program! Also the radio will need a code even with a quick disconnect trust me! Unless i royaly messed mine up by giving it a few sparks
