Wifey prefers auto lol
Will inspect it at an Audi specialized private shop would not pay more than 17-19K does it sound fair?. Besides I can spend 5-7k more and myself a fully loaded 2007 B7 with the 2.0T engine and Audi extended warranty no?

yeah that is true. Its up to you, personally to be honest i would pick it up just because of the condition it is in and the milage. Here is the thing though. I personally don't like B6 much, i dont like the body, the "bubble butt" rear trunk area is just completely breaks the deal for me. Personally when i was buying mine, i had a choice between b5 and b6 the price was like a 1000 difference and b5 had 30 k less on it. B7 would have taken my insurance from 600 a month to about 800 a month so it was not an option. I chose b5 simply because of its looks. I am a fan on sharp lines, so i went with the b5. (Just another reason i cant stand like 2004ish altimas, great mechanically sound cars, hate the body.
Like MikeH mentioned to me before it does feel like b6 was something they had to put out to update the cassis, b5 was in production for almost a decade. B7 is when the flipped their script and got a good design. So the dilemma for you is km vs body, some people love round cars, my buddy loves and has altima.
My personal choice would be the b7 simply due to the design, and if you can find a deal. Before you buy it take a final look around the kijiji and autotrader and be sure thats what you want. Otherwise if the service history checks out and you like b6 body, its just silly not to buy it :P

It does sound like a reasonable deal, but not for more than 17. Around here you can get an 06 A3 with 40ish km for that. I just paid 14k for my absolutely mint loaded 04 B6 A4 Avant with 80k on the clock.

I can appreciate the B6 look besides the WTF weird looking backlights that seem to have been added by a 14 years old in a hurry to complete his school project in time!
This will not however stop me purchasing it for a reasonable price...Having said that, I really loooove the udpated elegant sleek sexy looking B7 sheet metal way more; with very fluid lines and the backlights are just to die for.
At least both B6, B7 are the benchmark for interior ergonomics vs. the ever cheap looking pathetic BMW 3 series interior

Hehe we will get some dirty looks from B6ers and their bubble butts I have been seeing a B6 s4 silver with a small lip spoiler, around square one area lately, a few times just outside karea park, and that lip actually does it. I wouldn't mind a b6 if all of them had it or the it was possible to buy a different trunk , it just changes the whole look of the back. So first mod please do add that lip spoiler it just completely breaks the ridiculously unnatural smoothness of the back and adds the fine line that the trunk absolutely begs for.
