Default Is this Audish thing to do? (Need your opinion)

I just recently bought a used 2003 audi a4. I'm wondering about the pink cable that is attached on the first injector (see images below). What Im wondering about is that cable lying loosely by itself. Is this an audish (made up word) thing to do?

What is the purpose of it? Any clues?

I would definitely not try and remove any wire who's purpose you aren't 100% sure of. In the pictures it looks like you could use much smaller loom (covering) for the wire, that would probably clean up the look a bit.

Thumbs up Re: Is this Audish thing to do? (Need your opinion)

i saw the picture of the wire. as a car starter installier of 20 years it looks like the tach. wire from a remote starter. the tach wire is what tells a remote stater that the car is running.disconnecting the wire will make the car starter not work. if you bought the car with this used and did not get a remote to start it then ill will bet that you did not get all the keys with the car because there might be one under the bellypan (under the steering colume) mounted to bypass the immobilizer for the car starter to work. baby gs dad
