Default A4 2.4ltr in Saudi arabia, engine heating problem

Hi,
I have A4 2.4 ltr, 2004 model and I live in saudi arabia where the temperature is usually high (35C - 45C) most of the year. Twice in this year only I was struck with over heating problem . First time its fan control module was blown and this time its was water pump and electric fan.
It might be a coincidence but each time this problem happened when I tried to speed up the car very fast. Is it possible that there is big engine compacted in a small body, and in this hot climate, causing this problem of over heating?
this the first time I'm using an European car and will appreciate any advice from experts, how to maintain my car in this environment.
Pease help
Thanks
Tariq.

tariq i lived in dubai for about 2 years..and havent seen too many problems like this...

you might want to check on your coolant fluid, and lines, incase there are any leaks.
also, describe what happens when u hit the gas.. it is a probelm that occurs everytime?? or only sometimes?

the best thing to do, is take it to your audi dealership, and ask them to inspect the car...

hope this helps...
sorry, im not very techincal...
cheers & ramadan kareem

Sellam alekum Tarik,
I would suggest upgrading the inter cooler's to a larger style, the car should have been engineered for your climate by Audi. There might be a possibility of the coolant being for a lower temp rating then what you might have I would start by changing that first and then move to a better radiator and intercooler. I am not familiar with the setup of the 2.4L made for the hot climate but I imagine they have some pretty big cooling system already. Hope that helps, and I hope that you had a good Leyletu Kadri,

Selam,

-Mirza

Also, if you see your temp gauge go up. DO NOT speed up. pull over and let the car cool down. You can blast the hot air in the car to take away some of the heat from the engine but definitly pull over!

Dear rutman22, thanks for your reply and happy eid. If there was any leak in coolant fluid, I can see it on the ground under my car, right. What happens when I hit the gas, well its still my guess. 2nd time for sure it happened, I was in a hurry and speed up from stationary going up a flyover. soon(<50m) I got coolant symbol in my dashboard, I parked the car and I saw all sorts of liquid coming from under the car, I took straight to dealer and they diagonsed a diffective coolant pump and A/c fan. After that only I remembered that first time also when I had Fan control module defected, a day before too I hit the gas.
Now I'm a bit afraid in hitting gas and driving slowly.
Thanks, tariq

Dear Mirza ASAK, thanks for replying.
What is meant by "upgrading the inter cooler's to a larger style". I don't have any idea what coolant rating should I use. it was before done by the dealer, what rating they use i'm not sure.
I would highly appreciate if you could guide me in this.

Thanks
Tariq

Tariq,
here they have coolant levels that go to below -40 deg. C and wont freeze. I asume yours would almost be a water like mixture that is rated for higher temps. Here we can buy coolant in a concentrated form and mix it with water to get the same effect and change the temp ratings. so if it were to get below -40 your coolant would freeze so basically it never does...but if it were to I would add in a higher rated temp to lets say -50 which means less water in the coolant. I imagine you would have a similar product but for a high temp rating
