2002 Audi A4 CVT Engine is toast
Hey all,
I use to be a major Audi enthusiast until the car started giving me major problems. First thing that went was the TCM on the CVT tranny. It went at about 90000kms and I went to the dealer to have them at least pay for half the cost to fix it and they said no cuz I didn't go back to get it serviced from them after warranty was over. I bitched and said I'm going to give them bad word of mouth and they didn't care. Then the rad hose went along with the water pump.Got all that jazz fixed and now there is oil leaking into the piston cylinders cuz the piston rings r toast. Basically that engine is now done.
I need to know where I can get another engine at a cheap price for so I can sell the bucket. Any advice on where I could find one (1.8T)?
(Vancouver area)
No offense to you Audi enthusiasts, but I will never purchase another Audi in this lifetime again for reliability issues and the horrible service the dealers give once your car has an issue regardless if it's warranty work or not.

Thanks GeneKam..looked on ebay .ca and there aren't any, but did find a few in the states, but is it ever gonna be a pain getting it down here. I'll be broke after this that's for sure! With the amount of cash I've dished out on this thing...I may as well have bought BMW 3 series and been better off
