Default 02 A4 Headlight, Running Lights, Rear Lights Cycling Off and On

This is an update on my previous post

After a session with my brother-in-law who's a mechanic at a Nissan dealer I'm better able to describe the problem I'm facing but no closer to a solution.

After watching all of lights for a good half hour I've determined that my HID low beams, daytime running lights (turn signal lights) and all rear lights cycle off and then immediately back on every 30 seconds like clock work.

When the highbeams are on, the only difference is that my running lights do not seem to cycle on and off.

Listening to them cycle on and off there's a small click which can be heard seemingly coming from each HID as it cycles back on, or this may be heard as it's turning off, but they cycle from on to off to back on again in an instant.

I've checked the fuses, they're all fine, checked the levels from the battery, there's a slight dip when the lights cycle off and back on, but my battery is in good working order.

I've read a lot online about issues with exterior lighting on Audi's from 2002-2007. However, my issue seems to be different as all lights are affected and not only HIDs.

Anyone have any ideas? We couldn't make heads or tails of the track wiring diagrams we accessed on alldata. However, we did see the write up for the lighting control module.

Anyone know of a good dealership I could contact who might have some insight or be able to point me in the right direction? I unfortunately don't have a local Audi dealer.

Thanks for the help,

Andrew

I've replaced the switch without any change, that was one of the first things I read about, and I really hoped that would resolve the situation but no luck.

Any other ideas?
