Default Rim sizing question

Hi guys, I'm a new Audi owner

I've got a 2001 A4 1.8T the Sport model.... i have a question about these rims i want to buy, because I know the A4 has a high offset, i'm worried these rims won't clear the calipers.

Will these fit? Would I need spacers? Or will they work as a direct bolt on? Thanks in advance for any help you provide.

The rims are 18 x 8 , and have an offset of 38. Here is a link to the rims

I'm not sure about your car but I know the B7 platform (2005.5 to 200 has 18x8 wheels with a 43mm offset. I changed these wheels for 19x8.5 with a 32mm offset and they still fit nicely.

The higher the offset, the closer to the hub (and brakes) so the lower offset of 38 will will work fine. OEM wheels on that car were in the 40's. With respect to fitting over the caliper, I'd bet there's not an 18" wheel that wouldn't clear the relatively tiny 1.8 brakes.

Umm, stock offset is 35mm. 38mm will work fine, as my 18x8 rims are offset 45mm without spacers.

Visit Tirewerkes - The Best Tire Prices in Ontario and fill out our inquiry form.

We can help you figure out the best possible setup if you're unsure what to order. In addition to looking to future suspension upgrades, it is important to consider the wheels and tire sizes assuming you're not AWD. (ie if you'll run a staggered dropped setup).

And we're local, not US based.

Don't hesitate to contact us through our website if you have any questions.

My OEM USP rims have a 42 or 43 mm offset.
