Default PROFESIONAL HELP PLZ. 120p/h and over vibrations

Ok I am getting vibrations on highway 120 klicks and over. Feels like an unbalanced tire. heres a list of what I know for sure its not.

not unbalanced tire or dented rims- changed both, new rims new tires
not control arms- changed all of em

i dont think its the engine mount or engine, because when i desingage the clutch 120 130 klicks, it still rolls with vibration

the only thing that i might suspect, actually the last thing that i still need to change is the tie rod ends. IS its possable that the virations are coming from ****ed up tie rod ends?

It's the way the 401 is designed - it really messes up your head (if it's MINOR) - do a search, i've mentioned this be4

Yes, it could just be the road. I get the same vibration on the 401, but when I take the 427 south (on my way to work). It's as smooth as silk... they just repaved the road.

if it was a worn out tie rod end you would feel it vibrate when you are braking

Lift the car and try moving each wheel manually side to side and up & down. It will be fairly obvious if there is any play in any direction on any wheel and if present, you likely have worn suspension parts.

Did you get an alignment yet?

I had a CV go when i changed all my control arms because of the torch i used to heat up the upright... anyways i ruined the boot and didnt realize it. about a month later i had a vibration when i was on the gas going fast. when i replaced it it went away. If its only happening when you are going fast and not on the brakes i cant think of any other explanation if all your suspension, rims, and tires are good.

So the vibrations can be from worn out suspension? My suspension is stock, car has 230000 klicks on it. Think its time to change? Didnt do any research on suspension. what to change and how much, durability over performance is my choice.

I'm not sure if it would be suspension (struts/springs), but more likely that the rubber bushings are worn and causing play. As ScottA4 said, try to jack up the car, and shake the wheel, if it has any play you need new bushings. That's my 2 cents.

I noticed from previous experience with other cars though, that bad rotors cause vibration as well, and suspension too

To clarify, I'm not talking about Springs / Struts. I am talking about strut mounts, control arms, tie rods and suspension bushing parts. The "move each wheel side to side and up & down" test is intended to check for play in these parts. 230K KMs is a long time on stock suspension. For example I had to replace all rear bushings upper and lower on B5 S4 before 100K KMs and have seen many B5 A4's with worn bushings well under 200K KMs.
