Exclamation My alarm has gone crazy

I went to our plant in Michigan this week driving a company car, leaving my
A4 in the parking lot. When I came back, I found that my factory alarm has been making people crazy off and on for three days.

When I lock the doors with the remote, it doesn't give me that friendly little beep. And about 2 minutes later, the horn starts honking and lights start flashing. According to people at work, it eventually stops, but then will start up again later.

Ideas?

Does your trunk leak? Look by the spare tire. I had a similar problem, and I found out my trunk was leaking and it blew a computer. There was a good puddle of water under my spare.

my s4 does this as well make sure all your doors are closed properly sometimes when i lock my car it doesn't beep either then I open the door close it again and it will beep when i lock it this time and no problems, i do believe there is a little button with a rubber boot around it the door pushes when you close it so try giving that a jiggle worked for me
