how do you remove an gauge cluster for 97 a4? help plz

Default how do you remove an gauge cluster for 97 a4? help plz

im trying to install new chrome gauge clusters and im having trouble taking it out the cluster becuase i cant seem to get the wires disconnected from it. can someone help me out?

Have a look at these links - no need to remove the lower trim; should just be a couple screws behind the small trim above the steering column; wire connectors remove pretty easily after that.

hmm interesting. Any one know where he got the display, i have the stock one which shows like nothing.
