Front brake making rubbing (not sqeeking) noise when braking
Just recently, when I'm coming to a stop, the front driver side brake makes a rubbing noise that I can feel from inside the car. I'm not talking about the squeeking brake pads. It sounds as if my tire is rubbing on the wheel well but I know that's not it because my wheel is usually straight. Any ideas? I don't want to die

Not that I can see but I'll go give it a wash and see what happens. There's been snow here for about 4 months so it would be weird if that just started happening now.

What about slush on the roads sometimes mild to cold can cause it to freeze up also make sure if you have a car wash its not really cold hope this helps.Tony

honestly, i think its just the fact that the pads or pad could be worn down extremely to the metal where it wont squeek, it will grind metal on metal. \jack the car up and take the wheel off. Canadian tire as well will do a free break inspection so just have them look at it.
good luck with it.
Newfie-i go to newfoundland every quarter and never see any audis or any nice cars for that matter!! what gives?
