I know this is a dumb question, and I've seen the names to all of the other paint codes, but I have a B5 99.5 A4. It's not quite black, and it's not quite grey, but somewhere inbetween. Looks like it has a metalic flake in it too. Any help on this?

 

looks like Ebony Black to me... i could be wrong..

 

The two colours I think it is, is either Ebony Black or Volcano Black Pearl (which sounds way cooler)

 

You should be able to check the actual color code...I think there is a sticker/plate in the trunk area.

same colour as mine, ill see if i can find the code. your door handle covers fall off yet?

 

Look in the trunk and get the factory # and you can find the color on a color match site

 

its probably some kind of black...but probably a bit faded...most likely due to UV/direct sun for years

and yours is a B5...so its not surprising...
