Default B5 A4 tire fitment on BBS rims

Just picked up a set of 16" BBS RX rims (37mm offset) and I am looking to buy tires. My car is currently lowered with Bliestein shocks and H&R springs. I was wondering if anyone ran 225/50/16 tires on a simillar setup to me, I know on stock suspension there would be no problems, but not sure if I would have any rubbing.

I would suggest checking with tirerack.com for the intended tyre size. The site usually suggests the best size possible for the rims. By the way, those are some sexy wheels! I remember having the same kind (except in 18's) for my E36 Bimmer many, many years ago. Sadly, they were stolen during our last visit to my brother in law's house in LA.

Thanks! These are one of my favourite rims, sad to hear yours were stolen. Tire fitment I am not really worried about, its mostly my rims rubbing against the wheel well, but I picked up tires last night 205/55/16 for front and 225/50/16 for rear.

I asked the same question here before (wheel offset) and the answer I got is that we can fit wheel with offset up to +35et. so your +37et should be no problem! is your car a Quattro by any chance?

EDIT: For anyone who wishes to see the "offset" thread, click HERE!

Might want to read up on this since you're running a staggered set up.

Fourtitude.com - The real deal on staggered wheels

Just thought I'd share this with you!

Thanks for the info! My setup will work good, the difference in the OD is only 0.078%, so the rotation of all 4 tires will be virtually identical.

Nice! I'd sure like to see what they look like on the car.
