AUDI Conversation Skills
Sometimes somebody asks me for a ride and I noticed that pretty soon the conversation during the ride comes to and evolves around the car. There is a pattern to it regardless of the person in the car. Each point represents a 2 to 3 minute interval, and the guest asks:
1. Wow, you have a nice car too Compared with what?
2. What car is it?
3. And you have heated seats.. with 6 adjustments I have only 3
4. The seats ...is it leather?
5. The Music.. could we listen to..
6. May we open the roof instead of windows
7. Where did you get this car from? THIS ONE I HATE
8. Do you always drive like this (this is when passing uphill on ice)
9. How much did you pay?
10. (at the end of the ride) Do you want to go and see the new houses that they built in this area (- just to drive some more)
11. Touching the dash with the hand and moving hand left and right
12. Extending the arm support and checking what is inside
13. How come my husband bought a Dodge? YAAAAAAYYYYKSSS not an easy one
14. Touching the logo on the steering wheel and following it with the finger
15. Operating the radio and touching red display
16. How come the other driver gave us a finger? This is after generating 3 m high cloud of snow
The list goes on.
At first I was very happy and I would say it straight that car is great, but after I felt sad for some reason. I am wondering if there is such a thing as moderate approach to the matter to utilize PROPER CONVERSATION SKILLS and find the middle way?
I am sure that you guys have had similar experiences, and I wonder could you share a little?
