Default Alternator replacement

hey guys. i have a 2001 audi a4 quattro 1.8t, and i need to replace the alternator. does anyone know what needs to come out so i can access the alternator does the fan have to be removed i have both bolts loosened but bottom bolt hits the fan any advice would be helpfull thanks.

just look under your hood.. alt is just underneath the hose that is filled with coolant and all types of fun stuff. but u dont have to drain the coolant to access it.
