Question Program replacement key A3 sportback 2007

Hi All,

I wonder if anyone can help me, I recently bought an Audi A3 sportback 1.9 TDI (2007) and it only came with one key.

I ordered a second key online, which I have since had cut - this was advertised as being a used fob, with an uncut blade. I checked the sellers previous feedback and it seems people have used his service before successfully.

The model of my key is DE8PO837220D (both keys are the same model no.).

Is there anyone who knows how i can program my 2nd key with my car? I've read a few different threads on the net about this, but none of them mention the same key model number or same A3 model I have, so i thought I'd post.

I believe it can be done without going to a dealer and getting charged a small fortune, so if anyone knows and can help, it would be much appreciated.

thanks,

Oz.

Hi. I tried follow your instruction to pair my keys, I can get one flash from the hazard lights but no horn or alarm beep. One of my keys did work till I wiped it by mistake. Do you know of any other ways to get my keys working?
Thank you

Sorry for jumping on an old post, can I delete this and start my own thread?
