Default oil leak

evening fellas, have a 08 s4 and got home tonite and saw a small patch of oil drivers side from last nite. looked under car and in front of drive shaft i can see a casing with torx bolts and it has oil on bolts. any idea what this is and is it going to be a bitch to fix?

Rich, have you recently had an oil change? Twice now I've had oil on my garage floor becasue the drain plug wasnt sealed properly after a service. The oil that leaked out covered a lot of stuff in the vacinity. Might not be applicable but thought I'd mention it since its an easy fix....

cheers mate it was end of dec but not done many miles since, its going back this pm for them to take a look

found it, its the drivers side valve cover small leak at back bolt. phew thats easy to fix, compared to some of my horror thoughts.
