Hey gang,

new to my A3 and wondering if I can swap head units so that I can have ipod compatibility or an AUX input.

I got a 2007 A3 with a single DIN Concert head unit.

I've looked at aftermarket head units, but I want to keep the OEM look I currently have.

Any insight, suggestions would be appreciated.

you could switch Concert stereo's all you want but the Headphone jack (Aux output) is under the armrest for models 2009 & up..There's Dice which is a wire kit for Iphone/ Ipod connection & can be pricey..

Yes, it's plug and play. I had a new one for sale, for a long time here on the forums.
Go have a look on the Audi Classifieds section.
Sold it last week though...
