rubbing issue running Pirelli Winter 210 SnowSport 245/50/17???
Hi guys,
I'm getting a A3 soon...and was wondering if my old winter set of Pirelli 245/50/17 would clear??? If not I'll have to put them up for sale.

Using a tire calculator the follwoing is true
Original Size: 235/45/17
New Size: 245/50/17
Original Tire Diameter: 25.33in
New Tire Diameter: 26.65in
When the speedo says 60mph you will actually be doing 63mph.
Maybe on stock suspension you could get away with it but no promises here.

Re: rubbing issue running Pirelli Winter 210 SnowSport 245/50/17
I purchased a set of Pirelli Sottozero 240 with size 235/35/19, and I also have my car lowered with a KW coilover kit. The thing is when passing those bumpy roads, it rubbed, going with the oem size 225/45/17 is perfectly fine in my setting. hope this helps.
