Default New A3 owner: topic 1 - A4 wheels on A3

Hi guys, back to Audi after swapping my A4 1.8T Avant to an Outback. Just bought an 2009 A3 S-Line 2.0T Quattro.

I can get some winter wheels for cheap: 400$ will get me these 16s A4 7-spoke wheels

KBA 46112 --> Will they fit my A3?

- - -

Can i run 225/60/16 tires on the A3 (know they are 1in higher overall than the stock 205/55/16) but apart speedometer offset :
--> will they fit in the A3 fenders?
--> will they overload the DSG tranny?

Thanks!

I have S4 16 in wheels on my A3 with 215/55/16 tires. No problems at all. Clear the rotors with ease. Stick out 8 mm further than the 17's. 225/60/16 may be pushing it.
