Audi A3 2007 2.0T manual - sludge problem/low temp idle problem
Hi There,
First post here. I got a problem that my dealer doesn't seem to care.
In really cold temperature, car will start but have problem at idle and won't take gas.
Car rpm will vary between 800 rpm and 1000 rpm with lots of vibration.
Solution, I bring the car in the garage, it warm for couple of hours and then it's fine.
I normally got a "P2101: Throttle Actuator Control Motor Circuit Range/Performance" signals.
Other commun problem, lots of sludge when opening oil cap. By reading some other post it's normal and due to short distance. I have tried to open the oil cap when motor is turning. There is vacuum and the motor will start to vibrate...I don't know if it's normal.
Dealer tells me I need to warm the motor a little bit more to prevent sludge build up. They have no clue about the idle problem. I think I have moisture getting suck inside the motor and that create sludge. Is that makes senses ?
In the pictures, all red circle display location I think there may be a leak. PCV valve could also cause problem has I heard. I'm not a mechanic so If you have any clue on how to pinpoint the problem that could help. No great help from the dealer ! I have already spend 2K on normal maintenance and timing belt replacement...Need to save some for food or tires !
Thanks for your help !
