Default 2011 Meteor Grey A3

I just picked up my first Audi on Friday, October 29.

It's a 2011 A3 2.0T Quattro with the sport package, bi-xenon headlights, bluetooth, cold weather package, and open sky sunroof.

The car is absolutely fantastic and I love driving it.

Looks awesome. Congrats.

What were your thoughts on going with the Sport Package?

thanks everyone.

I didn't think the premium version was worth the extra money (I just added the bi-xenons and the bluetooth), so the Titanium package wasn't an option. Even if it had been, I probably still would have went with the Sport Package as I like those RS6 style rims better. Also, the bolstered seats and sport suspension definitely drew me to the sport package as well. It's definitely worth the money imo.

The rims do look good. Will you be changing the rims and tires for winter anyway such that the 17" all seasons wouldn't have been an option.

I'm gonna guess yes in Winterpeg.

Thanks, they are actually 18" mounted with summer performance tires... so I will definitely be changing the rubber within the next week.

I went with Dunlop Winter Sport 3D... they looked really good from what I've read on tirerack and various other sites.

What tires are you running for winter?

I'm downtown Toronto and, if this winter is anything like the last, I'll be fine with the 17" Conti All Seasons that are on my A3 (I have the double five spoke wheels which I really like too). I'm hoping that the Quattro will help get me out of my back lane if there is the rare day when I need to get out after a snowfall.

Yeah, if I had all-seasons with quattro I'm sure that would have been good enough as well... but since I had to buy some rubber anyways, might as well go with some decent winter tires
