Default 09 a3 lease rate changes or fix?

Hello guys, I have signed an offer for new 09 A3 at 4.9% lease rate this week, but my car is in Halifax, I have to pick it up next month.

I'm wondering what rate I will get if the lease rate changes next month? Does Audi provide any rate protection?

Could anyone help me figure it out? Thanks alot!

Hi - Will be getting my '09 A3 tomorrow! If the rate changes to a lower one, you will be entitled to it as long as the change take place prior to delivery to your dealership. If the rate rises, you'll be protected and will only pay 4.9%.

Thank you pal!

BTW, have much discount did you get from your dealer? I've only got 1800. They are doing the free audi care promotion right now, but I signed the offer on 28th, OCT. they told me the paper work can not be done before 31th, OCT so that I am unable to qualify the promotion!

Just leased a 2009 Audi A3 4dr HB AT DSG 2.0T quattro Premium w/Titanium Package.

Here are the particulars, hope it helps!

$39,950 MSRP (Base) + $2,100 MSRP (Titanium Package) = $42,050

$36,764 Invoice (Base) + $1,911 Invoice (Titanium Package) = $38,675

Dealer Mark-up on Invoice = $1,200

Grad Rebate = $1,000 ($885 after taxes)

Total Financed = $38,675 - $885 + $1,200 = $38,990

36 Months @ 4.91%

Residual Value = 50% @ 20K/yr and 48% @ 25K/yr

Upfront Costs Included:

Freight
PDI
Admin
Gas Tax

Glad to be joining the Audi family.

Blue Devil

- They also incl. the winter tires with the quattro promotion

that's just dealer BS! i got free snows from my dealer despite the fact that my a3 was a "factory order." basically they agreed to give me the tires "in the spirit of customer service." if you haven't signed the finance or lease forms you can back out anytime. then go to a dealer who's willing to give you free snows. or use that as leverage. keep in mind that auto sales are down these days.
